BIG NEWS about KantCon Event sign-ups

We have some critical updates regarding event submissions and signups for KantCon 2024. Due to unforeseen circumstances with Warhorn and to ensure a smooth experience for everyone, we have had to move up the deadlines for this year.

• Event Submission Deadline:  June 7 (Previously June 14)

• Event Signup Deadline:  June 13 (Previously June 28)

Why the Change?

We understand these changes might impact your planning, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused. Here's the reasoning behind them:

• System Shutdown: The system we use for scheduling events and managing player sign-ups, Warhorn, has notified us that it will be shutting down on June 15, 2024.

• Short Notice: The announcement of Warhorn's shutdown came with relatively short notice, leaving us less time to transition to a new system.

• Volunteer Power: Our amazing team is entirely volunteer-based, and the tight timeframe wouldn't allow us to comfortably switch to a new system while ensuring its stability before the convention.

We're committed to making sure you have a smooth experience scheduling your convention activities! We're currently exploring alternative solutions for viewing your schedule online after Warhorn's shutdown.

We'll keep you updated on any further developments regarding the schedule and Warhorn. There is a small chance the deadlines will change again if the Warhorn Shutdown date moves to earlier than June 15.
